This is just a place for people to say what's going on in their micronation. I will only say what's going on in Fingland, leaving the rest of Quailia to Benedict, for obvious reasons.
The snows that attacked so violently are starting to slowly melt away in the warm temperature of high thirties. Yesterday, I saw some tracks around the perimeter of Fingland's borders. I identified them as cat tracks, though began to wonder. It looked like this cat was helpfully patrolling the border and had no intention of attacking, like the last one did. We may have an unknown ally. But cats are not the only intruders. Though the spider war is over, the last sighting being, in early December, I think, a fire ant (don't know why it was so far north), a shrew was seen in the lower regions. I personally thought he had come to negotiate, so we lodged him in the Foreign Embassy, and gave him a bite to eat. However, he may have left by now.

It's great that there is so much wildlife in Fingland! There's not much going on in the rest of the Empire at the moment, although as long as we're on the topic of wildlife, wild turkeys are now regularly seen in the Quailian province of Market Snodsbury. Here's a video of them crossing the border:

The Democratic Kingdom of Mallanor Theolonia, Theolonia Royal Residence
1/17/2015 10:15 AM EST
Current Conditions: Partly Cloudy 27°F
The large amounts of snow that fell in the past few weeks has frozen and caused the main road to become very dangerous to transportation. I have released an advisory warning motorists and pedestrians of the dangerous condition of the road surface. In other news, I am currently preparing for the Primary election on April 18, 2015. This will be the first election in the history of Mallanor. We currently have two candidates running for the position of Prime Minister. I am excited to see how this event will turn out

Here's a question: how out there are you? I mean, how much do you try to make your micronation known? I do what I can and bring it up from time to time with my friends. It's been slightly profitable, too. But other news about Fingland? I'm afraid not much has been happening. I am preparing to go to Wisconsin for a debate tournament in a few days. I'll be leaving Sunday and won't be back till late Wednesday. Please pray for me, both for a safe trip and that I do well. I have managed to make a flagpole and hoist the flags of Quailia and Fingland. They fly proudly in my room. Well, I can't really say that, because there's no wind in my room for them to fly in. Thank goodness! I wouldn't want a wild nor'easter blowing through my room! There's some small yarning industry in Fingland. I am trying my hand at wood-carving, but either I have a bad knife, bad wood, bad technique, or all of the above. But I don't think we will be selling anything anytime soon. Speaking of business, not much is happening with the Hy Press. That's because nobody has come up with any thing for publication, so... Nope, not much has been happening in Fingland.

I make sure my friends know about it, and I give them the choice to join if they wish. I currently have 5 registered citizens. I have been thinking about advertising to the general public somehow, I'm just figuring out how at the moment.
Mallanor currently does not produce any goods, but this is set to change soon.

A heavy snow on Sunday resulted in 15 inches here. Quite a nice reprieve from the snowless winter we had previously been having. The debate tournament went well. I didn't get any awards or anything, I'm still sort of new to it. But I will be improving.
