As you all know, our Order is just starting out; we were, after all, only founded earlier this week. And as a new organization, we can't survive without active input from the members. We're all Catholics, we're all micronationalists, we're all dedicated to the same ideals, and we're all in this together. So I ask you, my brother knights: what are your goals for the Order? What is your vision for the future? More practically, what do you think the Order can do to fulfill those goals and visions? We're all new here, yes, but that just means that the future is a blank canvas. What shall we paint? I think my vision and goals are clear from everything the Order has done up to this point, but what are your ideas?

To begin with, I'd like to see all of us reaching out more, doing more to make ourselves known, and ultimately bringing in more members.

We can't succeed if we don't have the personnel to make things happen. So far you've been doing a fabulous job of reaching out to MicroWiki. For the moment, I'll see what I can do to get more people in my nation to join. I'll open this to everyone: if you know of Catholic micronationalists, please promote the Order to them. I have a feeling that we can create a great community but only if we get enough people! Last night I had an idea. What do you guys think about adding a philanthropic/humanitarian arm to the Order? I understand that most of us don't have a lot of resources to put into this, but what would you think if we started raising a little money for some specific charity? Just an idea.

Sounds good, what specific charity should it be? I'd like it to be one where we can be absolutely sure that our help will reach the people who need it.

A good charity my family has always given to is the Catholic Near East Welfare Association. It is a papal agency that raises money to support the churches of war-torn and third world countries in order to help them carry out their life saving ministries and programs. There's a lot of good information on their website about specific causes we could sponsor.
