I read a weird article today. It says that Freemasons has long been conspiring to destroy the Catholic Church. You can read it here.It claims that Maximilian Kolbe witnessed a meeting of the Freemasons in which they said "S---- must reign in the Vatican and the Pope will be his slave". I am rather skeptic of this case, but I can't stop wondering if there is really a conspiracy behind events such as the French Revolution or other historical events. What do you think?

So much has been written about the evils of Freemasonry that I am not sure exactly what is true and what is false. What is patently true is that Freemasonry is incompatible with Catholicism. Freemasonry champions modernist, secular, and humanist philosophies; these philosophies are based on lies and are a threat to the Faith. However, I am extremely skeptical of anyone who goes further than that and cites unlikely conspiracy theories to back their views. I think that Freemasonry seeks to destroy the Church through ideas rather than through vast conspiracies or secret maneuvers.

Good way to say it. We must indeed be wary of Freemasons. ...I think that Freemasonry seeks to destroy the Church through ideas rather than through vast conspiracies or secret maneuvers. And that is pretty much the way to express my point of view about Freemasons. Although I believe using ideas to criticize the Church in order to destroy it can be called a conspiracy as well.

Though I sometimes enjoy thinking about conspiracy theories, I don't usually give much credit to them. It's true that Freemasons were a lot more hostile in the past, but things have changed since then.

Although I believe using ideas to criticize the Church in order to destroy it can be called a conspiracy as well. It could, but some people go further than that. There are some who say that the Jesuits are founded on Masonic principles, that Vatican II was orchestrated by the Illuminati, and that Pope Francis is the Antichrist. Those are the ridiculous conspiracies I'm referring to.

I also hate when fellow people from the right blame everything on the Jews.
