I got a radical idea, like some days ago, and today I got both the gut and the time to write it off.
I thought, that, our Order could have a military branch. Our own armies to defend our interests, secessionist movements, micronations, and political activities.
If I manage to make Trebia secede, I will offer quartering for this army. But, it must be an actual army of real weapons and guns, which I might be able to produce if I get my own Trebian industry. As some of our other micronations secede, we can have this armed force spread through our nations, just like the Knight's Templar and the Knight's Hospitaller did in Medieval Europe.

I like the idea, but it'll be a long time before we have the resources to make it useful.

When this forum started, I actually thought about posting in the "Operations" section something to the effect of: "I'm just dying for the time when this'll have military operations!" So I am in favor of the idea. Unfortunately, as Benedict said, it will be a long time before we can do anything of the sort. Once we have become recognized and (to use a microball word) "stronk", then we can have a military aspect to our order. I am sooooo looking forward to that!  |

Yeah. At least Trebia must be independent before doing that, although I heard there are laws concerning militia in the US

If you are referring to the US Constitution, then I think you mean the 2nd amendment:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Haha, see? We have the right. Up to an extent, I'm pretty sure though. I don't think Obama much relishes the idea of a bunch of Catholic micronational knights walking around. Bah, but who cares about what he thinks?

I think this is more referring to a US "Militia" as in, armed citizens. I don't think it would go well with a bunch of secessionists using force in any way.

True. Also, when you think it twice, you are relying on a right from the US Constitution when you want to secede. Not worth it. On the other hand, I prefer to study the difficult ways of persuading people to form armies and give their lives in combat, after me doing the same.
